Welcome new members...

We here at the revolutionRoom feel that joining a site should be as painless as possible.

So...The New Member welcome package will be including (as fast as my widdle fingers can type):

Tips for blog design...

Useful Java applets/scripts for page design

Lists of Members with developed blogs that can provide you with inspiration ...

Recommended Resource sites, and some Members you can call on for help when needed...

The Package:

Html Help:

The opportunity for design on this site is fabulous...

Inserting a picture file:

For instance you can simply highlight and copy a picture from anywhere and paste it into the entry editor.

It's that simple.  I love that feature...

Inserting a link:

Most addresses will link automatically if you typw the address in the text bar of the entry editor.

Inserting javascript, etc:

Also, if you need to insert javascript, you can click on the open source code button, and insert the code for an applet, digital clock, etcetera... then save. it helps if the page already has a little content, however.

Inserting music:

Still working on this one...

But the typical <bgsound src="yourfile.wav" loop-"-1"> should work, if you type it into the open source code.

I haven't had luck with it yet.

Providing download files:

The easiest way to do this is to provide a link to a file that is uploaded into either your files here, or another site.

For instance...

< a href="http://www.sitewherefileislocated.com/yourdirectory/filename.typeoffile">Click here to download my zipped festival documentary file... </a>

There will be more to come...

If you are interested in having a chatroom on your page, copy and paste the script in the download section, or find another script on www.freewarejava.com.
